November 28, 2016 — The Grand Opening of the Urban Freight Lab and the Supply Chain Transportation & Logistics (SCTL) Center received outstanding news coverage and now turns to action. An AP national story ran in more than 250 outlets nationwide including The New York Times, Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, U.S. News & World Report, Miami Herald, Salt Lake Tribune, The Seattle Times and many regional outlets.

October 12, 2016 — The Supply Chain Transportation & Logistics Center officially opened today with a Grand Opening event held at the University of Washington campus, and announced the debut of the Urban Freight Lab (UFL), a strategic partnership between the public sector and private industry.

June 12, 2016 — Twenty-eight students graduated from the Supply Chain Transportation and Logistics Master’s degree program today. The Class of 2016 includes working professionals from the central Puget Sound region, and as far flung as Sunnyvale, California; Austin and Houston, Texas; and Singapore. The graduates are already applying their newly-acquired expertise at companies such as Boeing, Facebook, Microsoft and PACCAR, and in the U.S. military.
