The committee awarded the best Academic and best Practice-Ready paper awards in recognition of the outstanding papers in Freight Planning submitted to the 104th Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting. The paper, entitled “Autonomous Delivery Vehicles Acceptance: The Moderating Role of Perceived Risk of Theft” authored by Arsalan Esmaili, Kayvan Aghabayk, Sina Rejali, Amin Mohammadi and Amelia Regan from University of Washington was awarded the best academic paper award. The award was presented by Freight Planning and Logistics Committee (AT015) to Arsalan Esmaili.
The paper, entitled “TMASS-GT: An Empirical Model for the Simulation of Freight Policies” authored by Michiel De Bok, Lorant Tavasszy, Sebastiaan Thoen, Larissa Eggers, and Ioanna Kourouniotti from Delft University of Technology was awarded the best Practice-Ready paper award. The award was presented by Freight Planning and Logistics Committee (AT015) to Michiel De Bok and Lorant Tavasszy.
